2. 1.what are the part of scaffolding?2.Enumerate the basic procedures of assembling scaffolding.3.how to disassembles scaffolding.
Answer:
1.Scaffolding Parts.Scaffolding contains the following parts. Standards: The vertical posts (also called uprights).2. Ledgers: The horizontal members parallel to the wall.3. Braces: The bracing system.4. Putlogs: Horizontal members normal to the wall.5. Transoms: Putlogs whose both ends are supported on ledgers in double scaffolding.6. Bridle: Member used to bridge openings.7. Boarding: Planks on which workmen stand.8. Guard rail: Rail provided at about 1 m level to guard the men working on the boarding.9. Toe board: Boards placed parallel to boarding near the wall to give protection to workers.10. Base plate or sole plate: Plates on the ground supporting standards 2.Steps1.Select a secure foundation on which to build and set your scaffold. ...2.Opt for casters. ...3.Assemble the scaffolding frame. ...4.Make sure the scaffold is stable. ...5.Place the planks. ...6.Secure access to the scaffold. ...7.Attach the guardrails. ...8.Inspect the scaffolding to ensure safety.3.InstructionsStep 1Clear a nearby space to set the dismantled pieces of scaffolding down. As a scaffold is dismantled, the components should immediately be removed from the structure and set aside for later inspection. There should also be room enough to provide truck access to transport the scaffolding parts to a loading area.Step 2Examine the entire scaffold structure. Starting with the base, make sure that the structure is sound and that there are no visible hazards. Any ties that have been removed at an earlier time must now be put back in place. Check each individual platform to ensure that the wood hasn't been damaged during construction. Wood that has been damaged should be removed and replaced.Step 3Put on all necessary safety gear. Safety shoes, hard hats and gloves should be worn along with any other gear required by the site conditions. Safety harnesses should also be worn when on the scaffold structure.Step 4Begin the dismantling project at the top of the scaffold. Remove the guardrail and posts first using the necessary tools. Pass the components down from person to person in a daisy chain formation. Make sure not to stand in a location where pieces can be dropped on you.Step 5Remove the remainder of the platform from the section below. The ties holding the structure secure to the building should only be removed once the entire platform they support has been removed. The dismantling process works exactly the same as the construction process only in reverse.Step 6Examine all of the scaffolding components once they've been removed. Parts that cannot be repaired should be set aside for later disposal as faulty equipment can lead to injury. All of the undamaged and repairable pieces should be safely stored away for transport off site.Tip
Avoid handing loose coupling/stacking pins by attaching them to the top of the frame below. Keeping them fastened to the structure lessens the risk of them falling on workers below.
WarningA safety harness should be worn at all times. The force necessary to remove components such as ties can cause a person to loose their balance.

Answer:
1.Ledgers: Ledgers are horizontal braces, running parallel to the wall, that supports the standing platform of the scaffold
2-3.toe boards or netting on work platforms to prevent these items from falling to the ground or lower level work areas. The other option is to erect barricades that physically prevent individuals from walking under work platforms.
4.Outrigger : The structural members of a supported scaffold used to increase the base width of a scaffold in order to provide support for and increased stability of the scaffold.
5.Frame Scaffolds - Popular and widely used scaffolds because of the simplicity of design, speed at which they can secured to prevent lateral movement.

#CarryOnLearning21. 5 major scaffolds of Ethics
Answer:
As development of research ethics competencies is in the focus in higher education (HE) institutions, it is crucial to understand how to support the learning process during such training. While there is plenty of research on how to scaffold children’s learning of cognitive skills, there is limited knowledge on how to enhance collaborative case-based learning of research ethics competencies in HE contexts. Our aim was to identify whether, how and when scaffolding is needed with various expertise levels to support development of ethics competencies. To identify and evaluate scaffolding during collaborative case-based ethics training we synthesised a scaffolding framework consisting of three levels: techniques, mechanisms and process. We organised 5 training sessions where 46 participants (including bachelor, master and PhD students as well as junior and senior academics) were involved. Data was collected as part of action research from group-work recordings and transcribed verbatim. Deductive qualitative analysis was implemented on transcripts based on the scaffolding framework. Our analysis revealed that structural scaffolding alone (learning material) is not always efficient with bachelor level students, they also require oral scaffolding when the need becomes apparent. Master’s level students benefited most from wording the issues they needed to focus on. Doctoral students and senior academics needed scaffolding to maintain goal orientation. We end our article with some recommendations for facilitators of ethics education, and encourage using the scaffolding framework also in complex problem-solving beyond ethics training.

29. 5 disadvantages of wooden scaffolding
Answer:
Disadvantages:
1.As timber is natural and cellular it moves with changes in climatic conditions. Timber shrinks, swells, twists, cracks and bends over time and different climatic conditions.
2.Most timbers are prone to pest, rot, mold and fungi attacks, some are far better than others but they both require a minimum of LOSP or ACQ treatments for outdoor structures.
3.Timbers tend to silver or look old if left natural and unpainted.
4.Timber maintenance can seem to be higher than other building material.
30. differetiate single pole scaffolding from double pole scaffolding sana ho sagutan ng wasto
Answer:
Hope my ans can help you
Explanation:
Double scaffolding differs from single scaffolding in that it features two rows of standards separated by ledgers for better support. Notice that a single row of standard is normally fixed to the ground in the case of brick layer's scaffolding.
