3. Great philosopher and mathematician?

Plenty of philosophers have contributed to mathematics, and many have even been great mathematicians, here is a list of some (I will leave out contemporary philosophers of logic, unless they have contributed to the foundations of logic):

Thales: often cited as the founder of philosophy, but also as the first one to use deductive reasoning in geometry.

Anaximander: geometer, teacher of Pythagoras.

Aristotle: founder of logic. Not much of a mathematician otherwise though.

René Descartes: developed analytic geometry.

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz: co-inventer of calculus, with Newton.

Bernard Bolzano: calculus using limits, developed the Bolzano-Weierstrass-Theorem independently of Weierstrass.

Gottlob Frege: often called the father of modern logic and set theory.

Charles Sanders Peirce: Co-founder of modern quantificational logic with Frege (independently of each other).

Bertrand Russell: took part in the development of logic, also the co-author of Principia Mathematica, with Alfred North Whitehead.

Hilary Putnam: contributed to the resolution of Hilbert’s Tenth Problem and to computability theory.

Answer:

Though our list highlights 5 key ancient Greek philosophers, a number of key thinkers such as Zeno, Empedocles, Anaximander, Anaxagoras, Eratosthenes and Parmenides also deserve mention for their contributions to modern philosophy.

Some great mathematicians have long been household names - Archimedes, Isaac Newton. Some have recently come to fame in movies and on TV - Pierre de Fermat, Alan Turing, Srinivasa Ramanujan. And some... well, you might have heard of them, but most of us haven't.

6. discuss one perspective among all the philosophies and perspective by some of the great philosophers

Answer:

Philosophy means "love of wisdom." It is made up of two Greek words, philo, meaning love, and sophos, meaning wisdom. Philosophy helps teachers to reflect on key issues and concepts in education, usually through such questions as: What is being educated? What is the good life? What is knowledge? What is the nature of learning? And What is teaching? Philosophers think about the meaning of things and interpretation of that meaning. Even simple statements, such as "What should be learned? Or What is adolescence?" set up raging debates that can have major implications.

Answer:

Philosophy is complicated stuff. It’s the search for meaning, for greater understanding, for answers to the questions surrounding our existence, our purpose, and the universe itself. So obviously, attempting to sum it up in a few pithy blurbs is a fool’s errand. Well, consider us your fool, because that’s exactly what we’ve set out to do.

We’re certain Socrates would question our motives, Emerson would criticize us for writing on the subject so far removed from nature, and Nietzsche would make fun of us until we cried. But we think it’s worth the risk to give you a quick shot of knowledge while you prepare for your exam, tighten up your essay, or begin the research process.

to help the people in earth

Answer:

The Socratic philosophers in ancient Greece were Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. These are some of the most well-known of all Greek philosophers.

PLATO maintains a virtue-based eudaemonistic conception of ethics. That is to say, happiness or well-being (eudaimonia) is the highest aim of moral thought and conduct, and the virtues (aretê: 'excellence') are the requisite skills and dispositions needed to attain it.

SOCRATES attempted to establish an ethical system based on human reason rather than theological doctrine. Socrates pointed out that human choice was motivated by the desire for happiness.

ARISTOTLE combines logic with observation to make general, causal claims. For example, in his biology, Aristotle uses the concept of species to make empirical claims about the functions and behavior of individual animals.
